Master Faye’s Visit to the North West

Our weekend seminar with Master Faye was a truly enriching experience. Participants gathered to delve deeper into the art under her expert guidance, enjoying a blend of practical instruction and insightful discussion. The sessions were thoughtfully structured, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace while fostering a strong sense of community and shared learning. Master Faye’s teaching style was both inspiring and approachable, ensuring that every attendee left with valuable new skills and a renewed enthusiasm for their practice.

Saturday’s practice was a continuation from last year’s training on the 24 step form. Attendees revisited foundational movements, refining their technique and deepening their understanding of each move. This approach helped everyone build upon previous knowledge, ensuring steady progress and greater confidence in their form.

On Sunday, the focus shifted to Taiji Kungfu fan. Under Master Faye’s guidance, participants were able to delve deeper into the elegant choreography and expressive, dynamic movements of section one and two of this form. The workshop emphasised both the technical aspects and the underlying principles, allowing everyone to appreciate the grace and discipline required for Taiji Kungfu fan.

The feedback from the weekend was excellent, with participants expressing great appreciation for the quality of instruction and the welcoming atmosphere throughout the seminar. Many highlighted how the sessions providing both practical improvements and deeper insights into their practice.

We look forward to welcoming Master Faye again in the near future, confident that her next visit will offer further inspiration and growth for all involved.
